Arrival in Delhi (Hotel Check in Time 12 noon)
Our representative will greet you at Arrival Hall in Delhi International Airport and later escort you to the designated hotel by a hired cab. Spend rest of the time in leisure activities. Overnight stay in the hotel. |
Day 2

Delhi – Full Day City Tours
Proceed for full day city tour post breakfast in the hotel. The travel guide will brief tourists about the whole day’s activities. The city has been inhabited since 6th Century BC and through most of its history it had served as capital for many kingdoms and empires. In 1639 AD, The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built a new walled city named Shahjahanabad which served as the Qutub Minar in Delhi, Indiacapital of Mughal Empire from 1649 until the rebellion of 1857. Later, British East India Company had shifted their capital from Kolkata to Delhi and established it as its administrative centre. Visit Jama Masjid, located at very busy street of old Delhi. It is the largest mosque in India. Also visit Red Fort. These buildings had been built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk – one of the busiest markets in Old Delhi. Explore New Delhi in afternoon and visit some other monuments like Qutab Minar, Parliament House, India Gate, Secretariat Buildings and Jantar Mantar Observatory. A three member committee was formed to plan the construction of the city. The key architect of the committee was Sir Edwin Lutyen who gave the shape to city which is now called New Delhi. Spend rest of time in local markets like Janpath and Palika Bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay in the hotel. (Every Monday Red Fort is closed) |
Day 3

Delhi/ Agra (210 kms, 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast in the hotel depart for Agra. It is a former capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. This city is located on the bank of River Yamuna. It is now a major Indian tourist destination due to its various splendid Mughal era buildings, particularly Taj Mahal. This building attracts huge crowd from across the world. After four hours journey, tourists will reach Agra and directly check into hotel. Post freshen up proceed for half day city tour including visit to Taj Mahal. It was built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz followed by a visit to Agra Fort. Get back to the hotel and stay there overnight. Day 4

Agra /Jaipur (245 kms, 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast in the hotel depart for Jaipur. Tourists will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Fatehpur Sikri en route. This deserted red sandstone city was built by Great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace during late 16th century. Popular highlights of this region are Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Aam, Panch Mahal and so on. Check into the designated hotel upon arrival in Jaipur by afternoon. Overnight stay there. |
Day 5

In Jaipur
Step out for an excursion after breakfast. Visit Amber fort and know about this former residence of Rajput kings. Visit ‘Palace of Winds’ en route, also known as Hawa Mahal. The royal ladies used to watch the daily activities on street below from this elaborate facade. Visit City Palace in afternoon, a famous landmark which is spread over a large area as it occupies one sh of the city. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur. It has also been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Grab an opportunity to shop souvenirs, traditional Rajasthani attires, skillful art craft, handicraft and other regional articles from local markets. Overnight stay in a hotel. |
Day 6

Jaipur / Delhi (255 kms, 5.5 hrs drive)
Post breakfast in a hotel spend day time in leisure activities till scheduled departure to Delhi. Check into a hotel upon reaching Delhi and spend rest of the time in leisure activities. Overnight stay in the hotel. This concludes illustrious Golden Triangle Tours. |
